Dr. Ioan Florin Dumitrescu, the author of the 3 D Acupuncture Atlas, is a complex and fascinating presence in the medical research domain. His interests are pluridisciplinary: medicine, physics, computer sciences and art. For over 40 years he has built a solid theoretical and practical edifice for the natural therapies, in particular acupuncture. Dr. Dumitrescu is the author of numerous methods, techniques and devices destined to the exploration of the human organism and the biological structures, out of which we would only mention electronography, convertography, neurovegetative reactometry, spectrography in electroluminescence. With the aid of electronography he managed to visualize the electrodermal points that appear in pathological conditions, for the first time in the world. His scientific activity has been concretized in over 120 patents, several books and scientific articles. Main books include: Modern Scientific Acupuncture - Progress and Perspectives, Man and the Electrical Environment, Electrographic Methods in Medicine and Biology. His books are published in several languages. He has taught acupuncture to medical doctors in all parts of the world; and has had the honor to be invited to China on repeated occasions.. |
